We are currently seeking an Air Solutions C&M Sales Director to join our dynamic team in Alpharetta, GA as part of the Air SolutionsTeam!

The Sales Director is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the largest and most complex sales regions. The Sales Director is responsible for a team of Account Managers and staff who are responsible for the sales and related business activities of assigned products to an assigned retail account or set of accounts. The Sales Director may manage through Managers and Sr Managers of Sales. The primary objective of this position is to achieve regional business goals (revenue, market share, profit, etc.) by actively participating in developing an effective regional business plan, by executing the sales side of the plan and by coaching and developing the Account Managers and Managers of Sales in the region.

SALES LEADERSHIP:

  • Work with Division Leadership and Account Teams to develop effective account business plans and achieve account business goals

  • Produce business proposals, negotiate, and obtain orders from accounts/customers in line with account business plan

  • Maintain accurate volume forecasting to ensure adequate order fulfillment and minimize bad inventory

  • Eliminate bad inventories

  • Serve as primary contact point for purchasing and marketing functions of account/customer headquarters

  • Oversee all aspects of company’s interaction with accounts/customers and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Develop Strategies and Tactics to grow customer business

  • Execute sales strategy and monitor customer performance

  • Educate customer on LG Brand and products

  • Communicate internally and provide appropriate feedback from customers

  • Maintain brand and product knowledge

  • Manage schedule and handle administrative tasks:

  • Work with inside sales coordinator to process account claims promptly and accurately

  • Review credits and charge backs for the account/customer

  • Review Return Authorizations to ensure they are legitimately LG’s responsibility

  • Completes sales reports

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:

  • Manage Regional Account Manager Team to ensure all regional field activities are aligned with account business plans (product launch, promotion etc.)

  • Facilitate access to resources, participate in sales campaigns, and enable subordinates’ contribution to sales strategy

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include:

  • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees

  • Planning, assigning, and directing work

  • Appraising performance

  • Rewarding and disciplining employees

  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems

  • Supervise, coordinate and facilitate the training of sales personnel in the region

  • Manage hiring, goal setting, performance evaluation, compensation and account/territory assignment within the region

  • Coach, mentor and develop subordinates within the region, cross-regionally and/or cross-functionally

Job Requirements:

  • GED is required; Bachelor’s degree with a proven track record of results or MBA desirable

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in related products/accounts/customers with at least 4 years sales management experience

  • Excellent relationship skills with both customers and internal colleagues

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

  • MS Excel & MS PowerPoint experience

  • The Sales Director must have and demonstrate solid business acumen and thought leadership in the following areas: sales, marketing, operations, finance, account P&L

  • The Sales Director must have the ability to:

  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
