We are currently seeking a Warranty Manager to join our dynamic team in Lincolnshire, IL as part of the Home Electronics Business to Business (B2B) Operations Team.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Warranty Manager will work in a fast paced multi-channel B2B Sales Organization, taking ownership of creating, managing, monitoring, and reporting information related to product Warranty and Sample data to/from internal and external sources and systems, while continuously improving those processes to ensure timely and accurate execution. The Warranty Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations, and will make an immediate and deep impact on the Home Electronics B2B Operations Team.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warranty Business Manager (70%)
Develop, lead, and execute strategies to achieve continuous Extended Warranty sales growth
Oversee all extended/advanced warranty activities relating to sales/returns and registration
Communicate with purchasing partners to collect serial number, end-user information and/or installation location
Establish best practices and methods for collecting and analyzing key performance indicators and implement action plans to improve warranty sales and operation
Manage Installation site product serial number information using internal software platforms
Communicate with internal departments and service subsidiary to ensure customer satisfaction
Work with sales teams and channel partners in creating packaged solutions and negotiating with end customers and channel partners
Design promotions to complement sales through channel
Drive and follow up complex and escalated extended warranty service issues
Work with marketing department to create, maintain, and update all marketing and online material
Monthly sales reporting to service subsidiary
Create, publish, and present ad hoc management reports to senior management as required
Sample Management (30%)
Communicate with warehouse and logistics to reconcile inventory
Provide Bi-weekly and monthly reports for sample budget balancing and management
Assist sales account managers to resolve system/process issues
Work with internal teams to drive process/system operation improvements
Provide notification emails and follow-up to account managers for outstanding samples
A Bachelor's Degree is required;
5+ years relevant work experience is required;
Bi-lingual, English/Korean language skills are a plus;
Must have excellent communication skills;
Must be detail oriented;
Must have the ability to work independently;
Must be able to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor in high pressure situations;
Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word;
Advanced working knowledge of Excel is preferred.
